Why Middlebop?
The AI space is growing incredibly fast and when we were building our apps using the latest LLMs we were always impressed by new releases from new companies and of course wanted to try them out. Realizing the pain of rewriting the code base and not to talk about the setup process for the different AI models, we created Middlebop.
Middlebop solves it by having a simple single API key and remapping of syntax so it always stays the same, creating the opportunity to be able to switch between mutliple AI models at any point without having to rewrite the code.
At the same time we also changed some original syntax quirks we didnt like when using the pure LLM APIs.
We're typescripters by heart so we ofc wrote all the tooling typed and easy to use.
For non js peopls we've written a OpenAPI documented REST API that makes it just as easy to use in any programming language.
